Over the next few weeks our class is making a study of Minibeasts in our area. On Thursday we went with Dean to look at the school butterfly garden. There are heaps of caterpillars. Now we are waiting to see each caterpillar make its chrysalis. We also saw a Praying Mantis on the wall. Did you know that some of them eat mice and lizards?
Mrs Scott went on an ant hunt with us. We found out that the queen ant and the males can fly!
